Our gluten-free lebkuchen makes the fall and holiday season special for more people – all without compromising on flavor.
While our gluten-free lebkuchen is not certified gluten-free, we take gluten-free production seriously:
- We bake gluten-free lebkuchen on dedicated production days (i.e., never on the same day with regular lebkuchen)
- We remove all of our wheat-containing ingredients from the production area on gluten-free days
- We clean and sanitize all equipment and wares prior to use
- We test samples from the production day to check that they contain less than 20 parts per million (ppm) of gluten
We follow this protocol so that gluten-free and gluten-sensitive individuals can safely enjoy this wonderful holiday tradition.
