    Our signature Nuremberg lebkuchen is now available in a gluten free version! Our gluten-free lebkuchen tastes like our original lebkuchen, with a similar texture. You'll find our gluten-free variety to be slightly chewier, owing to the small amount of rice flour used in place of wheat flour. The edible wafer ("Backoblate") is also chewier.

    We produce our gluten-free lebkuchen using equipment shared with wheat-containing foods. Cross-contamination of ingredients is possible as we do not have a dedicated gluten-free facility.

Spicy, chewy, delicious!

These are absolutely superb. Delightfully spicy, excellent texture...even better than the original Nurnberger Schmidt lebkuchen! I will definitely purchase again!

Our family has been fans of Leckerlee for nearly a decade and were so happy to find the GF Lebkuchen this season. What a joy to taste that they’re just as good as the OG version! (We’re also on our way to having enough of the gorgeous tins to start a small museum.♥️)
