Contains 5 Nuremberg lebkuchen (1 lb) in your choice of Assorted (our most popular option), Classic, or Chocolate flavors.

Our tins are heavyweight and carefully embossed, imparting a high level of finish that feels distinctly from another era. Measures 4.63" in diameter & 5.25" high.

NY skyline on the tin reminds me of my sister who sees it out of her apartment in Gramercy Park.

Leckerlee Lebkuchen is the Real Deal

My mom was German, emigrating to the US as a young girl in the 30s. Growing up on the South Side of Chicago our family looked forward to the holiday season when the local grocery store would carry lebkuchen baked by the local bakery Ericann - authentic Nuremburg-style lebkuchen. It was a tradition for us and for years after I'd grown and moved out on my own my mom continued to send a tin of Ericann lebkuchen during the winter holiday season. When my mom passed on I wanted to continue the tradition by sending lebkuchen to my brother and sister but, sadly, I discovered that Ericann had closed-up shop. Disappointingly, no other store-bought lebkuchen that I could find in the US even came close to what I knew as lebkuchen - it was more like dry, chocolate-covered gingerbread. Then I stumbled upon Leckerlee and found it to be just like the Ericann I grew up with - authentic Nuremburg-style lebkuchen. So the tradition continues now, with a beautiful tin going to my siblings every year. And, of course, some for my own family. Thank you, Leckerlee, for helping to keep a treasured tradition alive!
