What is Lebkuchen

The freshest, most delicious lebkuchen available outside Germany (and many say inside too), Leckerlee lebkuchen are the real deal. We use a proprietary cold-ground 9-spice blend & a dough recipe comprised of 40 percent almonds & hazelnuts (true to small-batch Nuremberg-style lebkuchen). The gingerbread essence, rich flavor and cake-like, chewy texture are unmatched. Produced in small batches using premium ingredients, Leckerlee Lebkuchen are an artisanal treat that embodies the classic flavor of the holidays. Our season is short, so get it while you can!

Ingredients: Almonds (as blanched almonds/almond flour), sugar, hazelnut flour, egg whites, almond paste (almonds, sugar, water), unbleached wheat flour, honey, candied citron and orange peel (with glucose-fructose syrup, citric acid), oblaten baking wafer (wheat flour, starch), spices, baking powder (monocalciumphosphate, sodium bicarbonate, corn starch), sea salt. Classic and Chocolate varieties covered with glaze (sugar, water, corn starch) and real dark chocolate (unsweetened chocolate, sugar, cocoa butter, soy lecithin, natural vanilla flavor), respectively. Contains tree nuts, egg, wheat, soy.
